DJ MicroLaminates Announces Availability of SUEX and ADEX and a New Sales Partner in the United States
Dry thick film resist materials are now commercially available in the U.S. for the Semiconductor, MEMS, Microfluidics and other markets
Sudbury, MA, August 18, 2017 —DJ MicroLaminates, Inc., a leading developer and marketer of thick dry film resist materials, announced today that its SUEX and ADEX products are now commercially available in North America through an exclusive distributor. With high resolution, high aspect ratios, and excellent uniformity characteristics, these easy to apply materials are well-suited for a range of applications in the fields of semiconductors and wafer-level packaging processes, electronic components, MEMs and BioMEMS, microfluidics structures, consumer, and medical devices and displays.
DJ MicroLaminates has partnered with Integrated Micro Materials (IMM) to provide sales, marketing, technical support, and distribution in North America. DJ MicroLaminates makes innovative photoimagable epoxy sheets that are pre-cut to wafer or substrate dimensions and available in thicknesses ranging 5 microns to 1mm. Thinner films are offered in roll format as well. The films are quickly laminated to substrate surfaces and are ready to use within minutes.
DJ MicroLaminates’ dry film resist sheets and rolls have no edge bead, no mess or waste from spin coating, and excellent thickness uniformity. Using low cost lamination equipment, these films apply quickly and do not require the long dry times typical of liquid photoimageable materials. Additionally, dry films avoid solvent and other chemical gradients in the film and provide for a “greener” solvent and antimony free manufacturing process.
